PREP SCHOOL
At Brighton College (Singapore) Prep school, we cultivate a profound love of learning that inspires curiosity and fosters intellectual growth. Our dynamic curriculum encourages students to explore diverse subjects, engage in critical thinking, and develop a lifelong passion for knowledge. With dedicated educators who are committed to nurturing each child’s unique strengths, we create a vibrant environment where inquiry and creativity flourish.
Through collaborative projects, hands-on experiences, and a rich array of extracurricular activities, we empower our students to become enthusiastic learners who embrace challenges and seek out new opportunities for discovery. Here, education is not just about academic achievement; it’s about igniting a passion for learning that lasts a lifetime.
We are dedicated to creating an innovative curriculum that not only exceeds academic standards but also inspires curiosity and critical thinking. By integrating cutting-edge technology, interdisciplinary projects, and real-world applications, we ensure that our pupils are engaged and motivated to learn. Our curriculum is designed to adapt to the evolving needs of our learners, emphasizing collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills essential to thrive in the 21st century.
Through a blend of traditional and progressive teaching methods, we encourage exploration and inquiry, allowing pupils to connect their learning to their passions and interests. This forward-thinking approach prepares our students to navigate a rapidly changing world with confidence and enthusiasm.
Our Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE) curriculum teaches children the skills and understanding they need to lead confident, healthy and independent lives. We ensure our pupils are provided with the knowledge and skills to be confident in making good decisions, regardless of what others may expect.
Pupils in Year 1 – Year 9 have weekly PSHE sessions, which are taught thematically. These themes are also explored within our assemblies. Lessons allow for discussion and reflection on many topics, such as relationships, how to stay safe and how to keep healthy.
The best way to experience what life is like at Brighton College is to join us at an Open House, where you will have the chance to talk to pupils and teachers about what makes our school such a special place, and to answer any questions you have about life here.
